Episode 641 – Soupnet
The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 641 – February 13, 2022
On episode 641 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table with Joe (@Marnus3 on Twitter) from The Poorly Written Political Blog, Francie (@Francie57 on Twitter), Thom (@AnOldLefty on Twitter), and Seth (@SethP23 on Twitter) from the VEGANesp Blog.
On the show this week we start out with introductions and the All A Tweetie segment, then we discuss clips of former Pence Chief of Staff, Mark Short, calling Trump’s advisors snake-oil salesmen as well as Chris Christie blasting Trump for inciting the Jan. 6th insurrection and efforts to intimidate Pence into overturning the election results. Then we discuss clips of Rep. Adam Kinzinger saying he will tell his new born son that Trump was the worst President in US history as well as Brian Kilmeade on FOX Nation saying Trump’s 2020 election claims are an outright lie. Then after we laugh at the clip of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene saying that Nancy Pelosi’s ‘Gazpacho Police’ are spying on members of Congress, Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with Joe Friday telling the story of “Soupnet”. Next we discuss clips of Trevor Noah slamming Joe Rogan for his racist rhetoric on his podcast, Rep. Kevin McCarthy running away from reporters asking questions, as well as Sen. McConnell ridiculing the RNC resolution censuring Reps. Kinzinger and Cheney. Then we discuss clips of Steve Schmidt blaming the GOP for the insurrection underway in Ottawa, Elie Mystal railing against SCOTUS for upholding Alabama’s Jim Crow redistricting maps, Lawrence O’Donnell suggesting that relentlessly stupid Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene really thinks ‘Gazpacho Police’ were a real thing, and Chris Hayes saying that Sen. Ted Cruz’s swipe at Sen. McConnell was so Tucker Carlson will call him a good boy. And we close out the show discussing clips of former White House Communications Director, Alyssa Farah, laughing along with ABC’s The View hosts about the reports of Trump flushing documents down the toilet and that Trump is terrified of Maggie Haberman’s book, Ari Melber debunking the right wing myth that the Biden Administration is giving out free crack pipes, and Jimmy Kimmel blasting Rep. Matt Gaetz’s speech against sexual harassment.
